Question by : what is the advantage of letting your home builder us your future home as his parade home in the spring?
so far no discounts have been offered to us.
This is a custom build and we are purchasing it in the end.

Unless it is being sold to you as a “Model Home”, he can still use it as such until you close on the house. If it is not a model home, he has not right to do so without any written agreement from you.

If there is not a discount there is no need for you to let him use the home. If you have a deal made with the builder to buy the home you have a say so in him showing it. Some of the people might want to know what the layout of the home is so they can go back and take things. And they are tracking dirt around on the floors.
